All discussions in psychotherapy are confidential, although there are some legal exceptions that will be explained at your first meeting.
We follow the code of professional ethics of the HCPC, BPS, UKCP, AFT and BABCP.
All client records are protected by the Data Protection Act 1998 and no client information is shared with any third party. Exceptions to this policy may occur only where necessary to protect the safety of clients or others.
You have the right to access your data. Copies can be released after you make a Data Subject Request under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998 and GDPR.
We will not contact clients on any telephone number or at any address if explicitly asked not to.
